Aloysius Eka Kurnia is recognized as the expert on travel & tourism law of Indonesia. He is attorney, legal consultant, government expert staff, and lecturer with extensive practical experience, primarily dealing with cases involving government officials. He is the founder of “Kantor Hukum Eka Kurnia & Rekan” which has been rebranded as ALKA LAW OFFICE since 2023. He currently serves as the Managing Partner of ALKA LAW OFFICE, and also a legal consultant and sworn attorney.

He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from Parahyangan Catholic University and continued his education by obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Indonesia major in Administrative Law with a cum laude predicate. In addition to his formal education, Eka has acquired several professional certifications that support and enhance the services provided to clients, including Tax Certifications (Brevet A and Brevet B), Certified Legal Auditor (CLA), Certified Tax Lawyer (CTL) and Certified Procurement Lawyer (CPL).

Before establishment of ALKA LAW OFFICE, He served as a paralegal at Lokataru Law & Human Rights Office, where he gained significant experience in human rights cases and advocacy for human rights. He also served as an associate at Maruarar Siahaan & Partners, working directly under the supervision of former Constitutional Court Justice Maruarar Siahaan. This role provided him with substantial exposure to constitutional legal matters, including Judicial Review proceedings and General Election disputes. In addition to his career as a litigation lawyer, Eka also served as an expert staff member for the Regional Representative Council of DKI Jakarta (DPRD DKI Jakarta) in 2019.

Some of his notable clients include government bodies, state-owned enterprises, large multinational companies, and high-profile local companies. He has extensive experience handling various litigation and non-litigation matters, such as debt disputes, insurance disputes, land disputes, customs disputes, tax disputes, and other civil or criminal cases. In addition to his role as a legal consultant and attorney, He is a registered member of Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) and also serves as a Lecturer of Law at several Universities in Jakarta. In the academic, He has conducted numerous research and trusted as a member of the Association of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law Educators since 2022.
